The abandoned dogs in Plymouth who need to find loving homes

These adorable animals need someone to love them

by · PlymouthLive

An animal rescue shelter in Plymouth is appealing to the public to offer loving homes to abandoned dogs in their care. The Woodside Animal Welfare Trust has a new list of dogs who will make ideal pets for the appropriate families and households.

The organisation says: "All dogs that are adopted from Woodside have to have a pre-home visit before going out. The Trust do not home to a property with no or communal garden. A garden will need to be fully enclosed with fencing suitable for the dog, on average 6ft, before a dog is rehoused.

The animals currently at the sanctuary include Mable, a four year old bulldog who arrived because her owner sadly lost their home. The animal centre says: "She also likes to spend time in reception where she can sunbathe by the window and use puppy dog eyes to get lots of fuss."
