Tragedy as body of man found in river

The body of a 60-year-old man has been found in a river in Caernarfon. Police have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to the River Seiont on Sunday, December 15, at around 1:40 pm, where the man's body was recovered from the water.

In a statement, North Wales Police said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed."

The force added: "Our thoughts remain with the man's family who are being supported by officers.."
