Breaking: Tom Brady Announces He’s Coming Out Of Retirement
by Andrew Holleran · The SpunTom Brady is no longer retired.
Sunday night, the seven-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback announced that he will be coming out of retirement to play another season in Tampa Bay.
Rumors have been swirling for weeks since Brady announced his retirement decision. No one seemed to believe that he would stay retired. And it doesn’t appear that he will be.
“These past two months I’ve realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it’s not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG,” Brady announced on Twitter on Sunday night.
Unless Brady, 44, was hacked, this appears to be legitimate.
The Buccaneers are coming off a Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Brady is one year removed from winning a Super Bowl in Tampa Bay.
Brady will go for Super Bowl No. 8 next season.
