The West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has announced minor changes to the syllabus of certain subjects for Classes 11 and 12. According to an official notification, the revisions were made following "suggestions from various quarters".
Students, teachers, and stakeholders can download the updated syllabus from the council's official website at wbchse.wb.gov.in.
The revised syllabus applies to a range of subjects, including English A, English B, Alternative English, Bengali A, Hindi A, Hindi B, History, Political Science, Accountancy, Costing & Taxation, Business Studies, Education, Science of Well-being, Statistics, Philosophy, Environmental Studies, Economics, Geography, and Biological Science.
According to the notice, all revisions will take effect from the next academic year. These changes will be reflected in the 4th Edition of the syllabus book, along with updates in the council's upcoming version of model question paper books.
It is important to note that the changes in the class 11 syllabus, as stated in the notice, will not impact students currently preparing for the class 11 Semester 2 examinations.
