September’s Korean IC production fell 3%

September production of ICs in Korea fell 3% after an 11% rise in August, says Statistics Korea,  while shipment growth was 0.7% m-o-m compared to Augusts’s 17%.

It was the first m-o-m fall in production in 14 months, suggesting  that the memory rally is fizzling out

September IC inventory levels fell 41.5% y-o-y.
