GCC to install more smart classrooms in schools

The Greater Chennai Corporation has initiated a project to modernise educational infrastructure in wards 82, 85, 86, 87, and 93 through the installation of 19 Smart Classroom Solutions.

14 classrooms has been tendered for the installation. They are funded by MP and MLA allocations, with an estimated cost of ₹56 lakh.

These classrooms will be equipped with advanced smartboards, licensed educational software, and a three-year maintenance plan. The project includes training for educators and continuous technical support to ensure operational efficiency.
