IRCTC to organise a six-day Pongal package tour to Cambodia and Vietnam from Tiruchi and Chennai next month

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), South Zone, Chennai, will organise a six-day special package tour to Cambodia and Vietnam from January 16.

This unique Pongal special tour from Tiruchi and Chennai will offer an exceptional opportunity to experience the rich history, culture and natural beauty of Cambodia and Vietnam. The package cost is ₹1,36,500 per person on double occupancy. 

The highlight of the tour is a visit to the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia. Known as the largest religious monument in the world, the Angkor Wat is one of the most sought after tourist destinations globally. The temple is considered a marvel of ancient art and architecture with intricate carvings that tell the story of the region’s rich history.

In addition to Angkor Wat, the tour will also cover Ha Long Bay in Vietnam, a UNESCO world heritage site renowned for its breath-taking limestone islands and emerald waters.

Ha Long Bay is an ideal spot for adventure and relaxation with caves to explore and the opportunity to immerse in local culture. 

The tours from Tiruchi and Chennai will depart on January 16. Passengers from Tiruchi shall board the flight from Tiruchi on January 16 and reach Siem Reap (Vietnam) via Bangkok by AirAsia flight.
