ED officials conduct search on sand mining operator’s premises in Dindigul

Officials from the Directorate of Enforcement conducted a search on the premises of sand mining operator in Dindigul on Friday.

According to reliable sources, the officials arrived in two vehicles at the premises belonging to Rathnam and held inquiries. Central agency police personnel were deployed while the checks were underway. No outsider was allowed to enter the buildings.

The checks, which started at around 8 a.m., continued till late in the evening, sources said and added that in a similar search, the ED officials conducted raid on the sand mining operator in September 2023 and again in one of his relative’s house in November last year on GTN Salai.
