GHMC panel gives NOC for 31.39 acres OGH land in Goshamahal

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation’s standing committee, through its meeting on Wednesday (November 27, 2024), has recommended a proposal for diversion of a part of the remaining funds from the storm water drain remodelling project in Nagamaiah Kunta area, for the extension of the drain works.

Despite allocation of ₹39 crore for the project, the remodelling was completed within ₹19.34 crore, and approval for utilisation of ₹3 crore out of the remaining funds was sought for construction of a box drain in extension of the works.

The meeting cleared a total 10 proposals, which included issue of no objection certificate for handing over 31.39 acres of land in Goshamahal chosen for construction of new buildings for the Osmania General Hospital.

Approval was granted, among others, for distribution of sports material worth ₹2 lakh to every corporator in GHMC’s purview, for conducting sports meets at ward level.
