Hours after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were photographed getting close on Thanksgiving, Jennifer Lopez shared a glimpse of her own holiday celebration.
“I hope everybody had a beautiful and Happy Thanksgiving,” Lopez, 55, captioned an Instagram photo of herself. “I am so incredibly grateful for all of you. 🧡.”
The singer was decked out in a holiday sweat and smiled while looking off camera for the photo-op. She stood behind a turkey and a tasty side dish as she stood in the kitchen.
This year mark’s Lopez and Affleck’s first Thanksgiving since she filed for divorce from the Oscar winner, 52, in August after two years of marriage. The day marked exactly two years since their second wedding ceremony at his Georgia estate.
They initially exchanged views at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022.
Affleck, meanwhile, spent Thursday with ex-wife Garner, 52, volunteering and serving meals to the homeless community in Los Angeles at The Midnight Mission annual Thanksgiving Street Fair. At one point, he was caught looking smitten as he whispered in her ear.
The pair share three children: Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12.
“He’s very happy with life. He enjoys working. He’ll spend Thanksgiving with his kids,” an insider told People this week.
Affleck and Lopez postponing their initial engagement in 2003, and he went on to marry Garner. The two split in June 2015 after 10 years of marriage. He and Lopez, aka Bennifer, rekindled their romance in 2021.
Over the summer, Lopez cited the date of their separation as April 26, 2024, and they reportedly do not have a prenup. Although they are over personally, professionally they are currently promoting their latest film, “Unstoppable” — thought separately.
Lopez gave her first major interview since their breakup in October.
“Now I’m excited, when you say you’re just going to be on your own. Yes, I’m not looking for anybody, because everything that I’ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I f–king do when it’s just me flying on my own,” she told Nikki Glaser for Interview magazine at the time.
She wondered: “What if I’m just free?”
“For people who are romantics and love being in relationships and want to grow old with somebody, we think, ‘I have to have that to be whole and happy.’ And you don’t,” she went on, noting she’s “not looking for anybody.”
“I did all the work and look at where I am, and then it was like my whole f—ing world exploded,” she added. “It feels lonely, unfamiliar, scary. It feels sad. It feels desperate. But when you sit in those feelings and go, ‘These things are not going to kill me,’ it’s like actually, I am capable of joy and happiness all by myself.”
