Man City confirm tragic death of supporter following incident during Man Utd match
Manchester City fell to a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Sunday and the Premier League champions have shared some tragic news regarding a supporter in the aftermath of the game

The reigning Premier League champions welcomed their fierce rivals to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Josko Gvardiol had given City the lead only for late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad to flip the game on its head.
But away from the football, City have been hit by tragedy after revealing that a supporter who attended has died.
A statement from City on Monday read: "Manchester City are aware of the tragic news that one of our supporters passed away following a medical incident at yesterday's match. The thoughts of everyone at the Club are with their family and friends at this incredibly difficult time."
The incident was not known at the time of the game, with the match progressing as normal. No further details have been shared regarding the supporter.
The game saw Pep Guardiola's side fall to their eighth defeat in their last 11 games in all competitions. And the City boss claimed responsibility for the result.
Speaking after the game, he said: "Not much to say. No defence, they were incredibly persistent. We have not lost eight games in two seasons. We can't defend that. It's not about this or that player.
“We gave away goals, our fault. We don't play with composure. The results are not good, the game was not exceptional. I know the situation, I understand but the reality is this.
"They have to know that these situations happen. In the box you have to be careful. It's not about Matheus [Nunes], he played really good in not his position at full-back. But it's not about that, we have to play better. The result will help us to take our best but right now we don't have it. The way I learn is to keep going.
"I'm not good enough. I am the boss, the manager, I have to find solutions and so far I haven't. That's the reality. We want to play better, create chances. But at the moment it's not possible."
The defeat leaves City fifth in the Premier League and already nine points behind current leaders Liverpool having played a game more. The reigning champions will be aiming to get back on track this weekend as they travel to Aston Villa on Saturday afternoon.
