Glastonbury 2025 full ticket details as first festival spots set to go on sale

by · ChronicleLive

Festival-goers will get their first chance to buy Glastonbury 2025 tickets today, Thursday November 14, with the first sale for coach packages set to go live at 6pm ahead of the general release this weekend.

Coaches will be departing for the iconic Somerset festival next June from 28 locations across the UK, including Newcastle, with those hoping to get tickets having had to provide their details ahead of the sale in a bid to prevent touting. This means that to join the sales going live in the coming days, you will need to have already registered by the deadline on November 11.

Organisers also announced a huge change to its booking process last week, which will see ticket hopefuls placed in a virtual queue for the first time. If you're planning to try for Glastonbury tickets this week, here's everything you need to know from key timings to prices.

Where and when can I buy Glastonbury tickets?

Tickets for Glastonbury will be sold exclusively at glastonbury.seetickets.com. A ticket includes entry to the whole festival, which will take place from Wednesday, June 25 until Sunday, June 29, with access to over 4,000 performances across more than 100 stages.

Ticket and coach travel options will go on sale at 6pm on Thursday, November 14, followed by general admission tickets which will go live at 9am on Sunday, November 17. Remember that everyone aged 13 or over must have already been individually registered in order to access the sales. You will be able to book up to six tickets per transaction.

What ticket options are there and how much do they cost?

General Admission full weekend tickets, which are valid from Wednesday 25th June to Sunday 29th June for Glastonbury 2025 cost £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee. If you're planning to buy a ticket with coach travel included, return coach fares range from £46 to £162 on top of the price of festival admission, with a round trip from Newcastle costing £140.

When buying your tickets, you will need to pay a deposit of £75 per person plus the coach fare if applicable, and you will then pay the remaining balance in the first week of April 2025. Postage and packing is charged per order at £10.25 when paying your remaining ticket balance.

How can I maximise my chances in the sale?

With an online queue system set to be in place for the first time this year, organisers warn that refreshing the page, using multiple tabs or many devices can look like suspicious behaviour and can harm your chances of getting through by triggering anti-bot software. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that you stick to one tab/device per IP address and do not refresh your page once you are in the queue.

When will I receive my tickets?

You should receive your tickets at least seven days before the festival starts. Travel vouchers for coach ticketholders are expected to be dispatched from mid-May, and will be sent as e-tickets before you receive your physical festival ticket when you are on the coach en route to Glastonbury.

You can check up on your tickets using the tracking reference provided on your See Tickets order. If you are not at home when your tickets arrive, a card should be left giving you instructions on how to arrange re-delivery or pick them up from your local collection office.

Why did I need to register for tickets?

Only those who registered for the sale before the deadline will have the chance to buy tickets, and this is to prevent touting. It also means that your festival tickets are non-transferable, as each ticket features the photograph of the registered ticket holder with security checks set to be carried out at the entrance to Glastonbury.

If you're plan to buy tickets for other people, they will all need to have been registered ahead of the ticket sale, and you will need their registration numbers and corresponding postcodes in order to purchase tickets on their behalf. Unfortunately, registration closed on Monday, November 11, so if you did not sign up before this date you will not be able to buy tickets.

Resale of tickets is strictly prohibited and will result in the cancellation of your order, organisers have warned.
