Jaya TV presents its 25th music festival as part of this year’s Margazhi utsavam (December 16, 2024 to January 13, 2025) The earlier editions have featured some of the eminent musicians. Each year’s festival is themed on a specific topic. This year it is pegged on ‘Tamil Isai’ and musicians will render exclusive Tamil songs composed by Muthu Thandavar, Marimutha Pillai, Arunachala Kavirayar, Koteeswara Iyer, Papanasam Sivan, Gopalakrishna Bharati.
Artistes to perform are Mahathi, Sikkil Gurucharan, J.B. Keerthana, Archana and Aarthy, T.N.S. Krishna, Venkatanagarajan, and J.A. Jayanth. Apart from the music concerts ‘Harikatha’ by .Vishaka Hari and Dushyanth Sridhar will form part of the series. Today at 7.30 a.m. and 8.30 p.m.: J.B. Keerthana Sriram.
Pudhuyugam, presents a special Tiruppavai series to be rendered by Kannan Seshadri from Singapore; and Tiruvenpavai hymns, written by Manickavasagar, to be presented by Dr. Sudha Seshayyan. The programmes will be telecast through Margazhi at 5.30 a.m. daily.
