Today marks the final call for Aldi enthusiasts to compete for a year's free groceries with Aldi's Superfan Card, as entries close tonight on October 31. The card is a salute to Aldi's most steadfast shoppers, and one lucky individual will be named the inaugural owner of this exclusive access.

Scores of applications are already flooding in from all corners of the UK. Many Aldi supporters have been keenly arguing their cases as to why they are the ultimate Superfans deserving of this unique reward.

It comes as earlier this month, Which? awarded Aldi as the cheapest supermarket in the UK for September. Its average food shop based on 59 items cost £102.68. Lidl came in close second wih £103.86, followed by Asda with £112.19.
