Subway swaps sandwiches for streetwear in unique merchandise launch

by · Wales Online

Subway has ventured into the world of fashion with its debut merchandise collection, swapping its signature sandwiches for streetwear. The popular fast-food chain has released t-shirts, sweatshirts and a tote bag inspired by fan-favourite menu items.

The clothing items pay homage to the Meatball Marinara Sub, affectionately known as the 'baller sub', and the Chipotle Southwest Sauce. The tote bag features the brand's 'Baked Fresh Daily' slogan.

However, fans are being urged to act quickly to secure the complimentary merchandise, with only 1,000 items up for grabs. Those who miss out on the initial release are advised to monitor Subway's social media channels for information about potential future drops.

Kirstey Elston from Subway said: "When creating this fresh new line, we wanted to offer our fans more than just branded merchandise, but items they actually want to wear. And in the spirit of the holidays, we thought why not give it to them for free! ".

The unique designs were created by Dublin-based illustrator Stephen Heffernan and will be available for free from today while stocks last at www.subway-merch.com.

Kirstey Elston commented: "Stephen did a brilliant job bringing the vision for the line to life, creating a collection of unique designs that pay homage to some of our most popular menu items in a fresh and fun way."

"We love the entire collection, and are sure our fans will too."
