Boots premium beauty calendar hits lowest-ever price and I predict it'll be the next to sell out

Many of Boots beauty advent calendars have now sold out, but shoppers can still get their hands on this 12-day countdown packed with full-size products

My friends consider me to be something of a beauty advent calendar expert, having written about the 2024 countdowns available since mid-August. And as December creeps closer, more and more calendars have been selling out - and I think I know which will be next.

Boots has launched a bumper crop of beauty advent calendars this year, most of which are now sold out, including both No7 calendars, their Macmillan charity calendar and their premium 24-day offering. But still available to buy at a now-discounted price is the Boots Premium Beauty Full Size 12-Day Advent Calendar, though I predict it’ll be the next one to max out.

Originally priced at £99, the luxury calendar is worth £359.49, but has been reduced to £74.25 as part of the retailer’s early Black Friday sale. It’s the calendar’s lowest-ever price, saving shoppers £285 on the contents. One of the products inside, the Drunk Elephant A-GLOEI Virgin Marula 30ml, is worth £65 alone, which is only £9.25 less than the price you pay for the whole calendar.

Inside the calendar, there are 12 products, all of which are full-sized, including trending brands like Sol De Janeiro, Bobbi Brown, Liz Earle and more. At the new, reduced price, each item works out at £6.19 each, which makes for some epic stocking fillers.

Beauty-obsessed shopping writer Shani Cohen unboxed the haul and was impressed by the contents, commenting: “One thing that makes the Boots calendar stand out is the impressive line-up of brands. You’ve got some seriously big hitters here: Huda Beauty, Sol de Janeiro, Drunk Elephant, KVD, Bobbi Brown, and Too Faced, to name a few. Plus, this calendar isn’t skimping on sizes - many of the items are full-sized, which is definitely a win when you're forking out nearly £100.

“One of my personal highlights is the Sol de Janeiro Beija Flor Body Wash which RRP's for £23. I’m a sucker for anything from this brand because it always makes me feel like I’m on a tropical vacation. This body wash smells incredible and leaves your skin feeling so soft - perfect for getting that summer glow in the middle of winter.”

She’s not the only fan, either, as the calendar has a perfect five-star rating from shoppers who have praised its value and contents. One said: “Such good value, love beauty advents and this is a good one. All large items and I wanted the Wella hair spray and the highlighter so cannot go wrong!”

A second added: “Amazing value for money, can’t recommend enough. All full-sized products and a nice selection across hair, skincare & makeup.”

One thought it was so good, they bought three, commenting: “Great deal for money considering the item it comes with. Quality and brands. Every woman must have this set. I got it at full price though. Today it was part of Black Friday sale with an extra 20% off. I bought another 2 boxes just simply because I am obsessed with all of it.”

However, it’s not guaranteed that every product will suit every person’s skin or hair type, so it’s always worth checking out the full contents before committing to purchasing.
